Usemime - Mobile Internet Made Easy

UseMime is an easy to use mobile internet portal application that can be deployed by mobile network operators or media brands. The application supports the creation of a device optimized menu structure that provides for ease of access to a wide variety of mobile internet sites and services. The service supports a long-tail content discovery service and an easily accessible directory of selected mobile internet and mobile content sites. Easily managed using an online interface, new sites or other portal changes can be implemented with immediate effect.

Integration with third-party search engines and mobile advertisement serving applications has been completed as part of previous client implementations of UseMime and these include Yahoo, Google, Jumptap, Third Screen Media and Admob.

Personalisation
Designed to make the mobile internet easy for end-users, a key feature of UseMime is that it supports extensive personalization by users. Using a web based configuration tool, UseMime enables a user to customise his or her mobile internet portal experience. While UseMime incorporates an extensive list of mobile optimised sites and feeds, users can enhance the service by adding their own sites to the portal. Existing users can share site recommendations while new users can be invited by friends to access their customised portal.

Integration with Existing Portal Solution
Delivered on a fully hosted and managed basis, UseMime can also be deployed as a fully functional standalone portal application or alternatively it can integrated with an existing portal service to deliver an enhanced service offering. This latter approach is ideal for mobile operators who have invested significantly in an existing portal infrastructure but have a requirement to offer relevant and effective personalization and discovery services for users.
